Introduction to Bookkeeping Workshop

bookkeepingLearnSphere Canada in partnership with CBDC SouthWest is pleased to host a “Introduction to Bookkeeping” workshop on Wednesday June 8, 2016 from 9 am to 4 pm in the CBDC SouthWest Boardroom at 73 Millennium Drive in Hanwell. The cost of the workshop is $60 per participant which includes HST and lunch.

Keeping accurate financial records is essential for any successful business; however, many small business owners are often too busy running the day-to-day operations they tend not to devote the necessary attention to bookkeeping. Some fail to record financial transactions properly and in a timely manner. Some ignore it completely until tax time.

In this course, facilitator Hazel Howland will introduce you to accounting software programs, bank reconciliation, budget establishment and cash flow statement. You will also learn how important it is to keep your books up to date and to ensure data integrity.

At the end of this course participants will be able to:

  • Record Sales and Expenses
  • Record your HST and file your remittance
  • Record your payroll and file your remittance

Deadline to register is May 31st, 2016.
