Please join us at Gallery 78 in Fredericton this Friday, April 1st, from 5-7 pm for the opening reception of these two exhibitions. If you can’t make it to the reception, click here to visit online. Please visit the exhibition in person until Sunday, April 24th.

Glenn Hall and Jonathan MacDonald: Common Ground

Kindred spirits, Glenn Hall and Jonathan MacDonald both live, at least part of the time, in off-the-grid cabins in the woods of New Brunswick, and each loves to paint the rustic rural landscapes they have chosen to call home. Both artists are inspired by their surroundings, by the Canadian tradition of venturing into the immense landscape, by the non-conformity of artists who have gone before them. Like the members of the Group of Seven, these two artists capture the reality of nature, of a moment in time in the ever changing wilderness. Both conduct thoughtful lives in a search for truth and freedom. This exhibition continues until Sunday, April 24th. Click here to be directed to the artists’ web pages for more images.
