Stitches in Time, a fall quilt show by the Elm City Quilters’ Guild, is at Gibson Memorial Church, 183 Gibson Street, Fredericton, New Brunswick. The show is taking place Friday, October 19 from 10 am – 8 pm and Saturday, October 20 from 10 am – 4 pm. Projects on display include quilts, bags, wall hangings, small pieces of furniture with quilted tops, ironing board covers, etc. There will be a well-stocked tea room. Saturday, October 6th, from at 11AM to 4 PM bring the family up to Crabbe Mountain! Hike down to the bottom, take in the beautiful fall colours, and get a ride on the chairlift back to the top. At the lodge, we’ll have music, pumpkin carving, face painting, haystack playground, wagon rides, photo booth, food, craft items for sale, food from the kitchen, and beverages in the Thirsty Boot. Register for snow school, pick up your season pass, take advantage of the sale in the Ski Mitt, up to 40% off select items! We’ll have guided hikes and mountain bike rides leaving from the lodge at 1pm. Hiking and MTB routes will be well marked. Sorry, no dogs allowed on the chairlift.
