In December 2017, Loblaw Companies Ltd admitted to participating in an industry-wide price-fixing arrangement, which resulted in customers being overcharged for the cost of some packaged bread products. They are now offering eligible customers a $25 gift card to be used in their grocery stores across Canada.
Loblaws owned stores include Atlantic Superstore, Real Canadian Superstore, Valu-mart, Your Independent Grocer, and No Frills, as well as others.
You are eligible for the gift card if you are the age of majority in your province and you purchased one or more of the following brands of packaged bread at a Loblaws owned store between January 1, 2002 and March 1, 2015:
